About Giacomo

Welcome to the website of Dr Giacomo Giudici. I am a Doctor of Philosophy in History (I graduated at Birkbeck, University of London, in July 2016). My research mainly deals with written and material culture in late medieval and early modern Milan, but I have also written about diplomatic history, the history of information and communication, and Game of Thrones. For four years, I have been part of the ARCHIves Project, a research team at work on a comparative history of archives in late medieval and early modern Italy. I am Contributor to BREPOLS's International Bibliography of the Humanism and the Renaissance.

This Page

You will find information about my education and degrees, my present and prospective research, and my teaching experiences. In addition, there is an extra section with a hint at my broader personal interests.
